HMK raise over £200 for Macmillan Cancer Support

Last week on the 30th September many companies, individuals and families all over the UK took part in the World's Biggest Coffee Morning for Macmillan Cancer support. 
We did our first Coffee morning last year and it was a huge success,  this year we went one further.

Along with raising £227 for Macmillan Cancer support we donated all our left over cake to our local care home at Clayton Manor. The home offers residential, dementia and short-term respite and convalescent care and has been doing for the last 20 years in Congleton. A big thank you to all staff members that took part in the baking (and also the eating) and donating for a great cause. 

So far the total coffee morning donations have reached  £2,223,617.53. A fantastic achievement so far and long may in continue!
