HMK partners with Englert Robotics, bringing flexible, high-speed Delta Robots to our automation portfolio

HMK is pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with Englert Robotics, a leading German manufacturer of precision Delta Robot technology for high-performance handling applications.

This collaboration introduces Delta Robot technology into HMK’s automation portfolio, enabling us to deliver highly flexible, application-optimised solutions to our OEM customers across the UK. By combining Englert’s mechanical innovation with our deep expertise in the Siemens and KEBA platforms, we can offer a fully integrated mechatronic solution - a uniquely optimised Delta Robot package that is unmatched in the UK market.

Why Delta Robots?

In many high-performance handling applications, OEMs have traditionally chosen between custom-built Cartesian robots or an industrial robot/cobot. While Cartesian solutions deliver excellent speed and performance, they lack flexibility and are often impractical for varied tasks. Industrial robots and cobots, while flexible, are generally larger, more expensive, and difficult to implement in cleanroom or hygienic environments.

Englert Delta Robots offer the best of both worlds - fast, flexible, and ideal for clean down applications. They are among the fastest Delta Robots in the world and already widely used in food, beverage, and pharmaceutical sectors, particularly where hygiene and throughput are critical. However, many systems on the market today are prohibitively expensive and over-engineered for most real-world applications.

That’s where Englert comes in.

Performance without over specification

Englert’s Delta Robots are uniquely designed to be flexible, affordable, and tailored to the needs of each application. Whether optimising for speed, payload, environmental conditions, or other specific requirements, the Englert system delivers the necessary performance efficiently, without unnecessary complexity or overspecification.

This philosophy aligns perfectly with HMK’s own approach to automation: leveraging our years of engineering expertise and deep understanding of customer applications to optimise each solution, ensuring peak performance while avoiding unnecessary complexity or cost.

As the exclusive UK partner for Englert Robotics, HMK will supply the Delta Robot as a mechanical solution package with motors and drives, or with the added advantage as a fully integrated solution with controller. Thanks to our long-standing partnerships with Siemens and KEBA, combined with our extensive engineering expertise, we are uniquely positioned to harness the kinematics capabilities of the Siemens S7-1500T and Keba KeMotion platforms. This enables us to deliver a complete mechatronic solution that is unique to the UK market.

Gary Kitchin, Managing Director at HMK, said: “We are incredibly excited about this new partnership and have already seen strong interest from the UK market.

“Delta Robots are the perfect solution for many OEMs looking to balance flexibility, performance, and cost. With Englert’s application-focused design and our expertise in engineering and integration, we can deliver a solution unlike anything currently available in the UK.

“We’ll be showcasing a demo unit in the UK soon and look forward to hosting an exhibition in the near future to demonstrate the full potential of this technology.”

About Englert Robotics

Based in Germany, Englert specialise in Delta Robot technology optimised for high-speed, hygienic, and space-constrained environments.

Englert Robotics kinematics are among the fastest Delta Robots in the world, engineered for real-world application flexibility, with a strong focus on performance optimisation and modular design.

They are individually configurable, absolutely precise and fulfil the highest hygienic requirements. They are compatible with any motion control system and are suitable for payloads of up to 20kg. Repeatability of 0.1 mm for position and ±0.3° for the angle of the rotational axis stand for themselves.
